What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we store the details you enter:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you provide one
• Your travel date, number of guests, destination and chosen package, if provided
• The message you write

Along with the form itself we record the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission, and the page the enquiry was sent from. This is used to detect automated spam and to rate-limit abusive submissions — nothing more.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to prepare and revise an itinerary and costing for you, and to make the bookings you ask us to make. If you go on to travel with us, we may need to share the details required for a specific booking — for example, your name and ID details with a hotel, or with the authorities that issue an Inner Line Permit.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets one session cookie. It is needed for the security token that protects our forms against cross-site request forgery, and it expires when you close your browser.

If website analytics is enabled, an analytics provider may set its own cookies to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. That data is statistical and is not used to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though form submission requires the session cookie.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept in our system while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Security records such as failed login attempts are short-lived and cleared automatically.

Security

Enquiries are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. Access to our admin panel requires a username and password, passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes, and repeated failed logins are blocked. Data sent between your browser and this site is encrypted where the site is served over HTTPS.

No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send card details, passwords or copies of identity documents through the website forms — we will tell you the appropriate way to share anything sensitive.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details above and we will action the request. If you ask us to delete details we need for an active booking, we will explain what we must keep and why.
